Students are required to contrast case studies of heritage buildings concerning contemporary historical architecture. This assignment aims to familiarize students with the research analysis process, incorporating tasks such as gathering, arranging chronologically, diagramming exercises, creating indices, and evaluating information. This encompasses the composition and organization of the study, assembling illustrations and text, designing layout compositions, creating posters, and delivering a comprehensive presentation.
Reflection
In our group project, I actively contributed ideas and made sure to meet my deadlines. I believe my efforts had a positive impact on the group's overall progress. Conducting thorough research allowed me to provide valuable insights, guiding our decision-making process and enhancing the quality of our final presentation. While the team dynamics assessment reflected effective collaboration, occasional communication challenges arose due to differing preferences. Although I effectively expressed my ideas, I recognized a need to improve my active listening skills to avoid misunderstandings caused by assumptions.
The time management evaluation indicated successful adherence to deadlines but identified some procrastination issues during the project. This highlights the importance of setting internal deadlines and conducting progress checks. This learning experience deepened my understanding of the subject matter and underscored the significance of collaborative teamwork. Our team achieved success through comprehensive research and adaptable problem-solving. Scheduling conflicts emerged as a challenge, emphasizing the need for better planning.
Peer feedback acknowledged effective contributions but emphasized the importance of clearer communication. Moving forward, my goals include improving active listening, refining time management skills, and actively seeking feedback for continuous improvement.
